Dear Krisztian, Thank you for the prompt delivery of my garden shed, unfortunatly the weather has been against us in putting it together. I can’t wait to see it standing and to be able to put all my garden equipment into it. Also thanks for the books which will be very helpful and informing. I have already started telling family and friends about your products and prompt service, once again thank you very much. Lorraine .

Thank you Lorraine, appreciate your comment and hope it all went well with your assembly and your shed is serving you as planned.

    Hi Krisztian,
I have recently ordered 5 garden sheds and I must say the customer service was excellent. I give you praise on how quickly we received our sheds. I have never known a company to be so prompt and helpful. Your online chat was also a great help as I could ask questions and be answered straight away. Your videos you sent are also very helpful as I intend to review them before putting up my sheds. I would recommend your company to anyone. Thanks again, Malcolm

    Dear Krisztian,

Thanks for the quick delivery and numerous email. I have put my shed together and I can’t say it was as easy or straightforward as your videos or the instructions might indicate. Apart from running out of screws even before I had put the assembled panels together, it would be wise to inform buyers that the hinge plates are narrower than the width of the assembled doors and to leave a gap between the back of the door return z channel and the bottom of the hinge plate that will be screwed through the z plate otherwise the door will not close properly and if forced will eventually tear the screws out. Also it is wise to pre-drill all corner holes to fix the panels together to avoid the frustration of attempting to drill through two sheet of metal which want to slide away from one another under the amount of force required for a a self tapper metal screw to drill through the sheets. Also the door ramp will not fit in the opening due to the z channels on either side that the doors hinges afix to intruding into the space required for the ramp. It is now screwed to the front wall bottom channel and only forms a ramp in, not out.

I am fairly happy with the finished product although dreading the first heavy rain. I may play it safe and gap seal the roof just to be safe. Please take on board my comments re screws, door hinges, corner joining and ramps and pass them on to Durabilt. I do think the product, instructions and quality control could be improved.

Thank you Peter for your comments and we have passed them onto Durabuilt immediately.
Not sure what was up with the screw pack, must have been a human error when adding them at the factory. Thank you for letting us know.
They already made changes to the door hinges to make them the size that can be pushed back all the way in the channel.
Pre-drilling corners (and any other holes on the sheets and channels) is something that they are working on too.
Thank you for taking the time to pass this on Peter.

    Hi Kristian,
was contacted this week on Tuesday by the freight company that you use and told that my shed i had ordered from you was at the depot ready for pickup..
The next day Wednesday i hired a trailer to go pick up the shed…
arrived at the freight company depot on the Gold Coast only to be told that the shed wasn’t there… after some checking they found a comment from the lady who had called me the day before letting me know the shed was available.
I asked if they could check that day and get back to me …waited but no call..
Yestreday Thursday received a call at 2.30pm to say the shed was ready for pick up at there depot…
again went and hired another trailer and this time the shed was there…
I spoke with the manager on duty at there depot about the “no shed” the day before and he said that he didn’t have a answer as to why i had been called….
I asked for compensation for the double hire of the trailer and they said that if i ever wanted to send any freight i could get a discount…lol

Just thought that you should know about my experience….

    Mike J.

      Hello Mike,

Thank you very much for taking the time to type up your feedback and experience with the Gold Coast Depot.

We’ll talk to Mainfreight and ask them to give us an explanation, however it sounds like it must have been a human error and the lady calling you might have made a mistake.

Thank you for your patience there Mike and for letting us know, we sincerely appreciate your time to help us improve our and our contractor’s services.

      Thank you once again Mike.
